The Newport
School District offers a wide variety of programs, courses and
extended learning opportunities for its' students. An extensive and
well-recognized special education program addresses the needs of special
learners. The District is composed of a P-4 elementary school, a 5-8
middle school, a 9-12 high school, and a progressive secondary alternative
school. Average K-12 student enrollment is approximately 1200.
